Lets get planning now for this roll call. Great for those who can’t make the 2008 cruise due to many many reasons. So for what I gather right now John is planning on using the Carnival Inspiration for the 2009 cruise. I’m sure this has much to do with location and timing for him. Not to mention I believe the splendor will be in Europe for the majority of next year. But I could be wrong about this. After doing some research on the ship and her iternaries she is sailing in 2009 from Tampa Fl. and only doing 4-5 days cruises. For me this is a letdown, anything under 7 days just isn’t worth the time or money. I have done 3 days cruises so I know. The one thing I can see as a advantage for sailing on a older but recently refitted ship is the lower pricing that will be offered. So who is planing on going on this cruise. Please comment and let me know.

don’t know yet kevin. if the cruise is only four days what about a b2b maybe? i agree to get to tampa and then only cruise for four days seems like a waste though. we’ll see.

Right now I am trying to figure out when our next cruise will be.
I actually thought I would look into the around the horn part of the South American journey, but it does not look like they have any airfare available and I am not adventurous enough to try to go it on my own.
Also, does anyone know why so few cabins are available on the Splendor TA right now? I heard that someone bought up something like 1500 cabins (or maybe passenger slots) – is this type of transaction normal? We only booked our Freedom cruise about six months before sailing and it seemed like there was a lot more available at that time.
DH & I would love to join. Hoping for the Caribbean.
IMO, 5 days is a very short cruise to allow everyone who wants to go and have just a little face time with John. I mean, all the bloggers feel like a personal friend of his, so everyone would want to speak to him personally. You wouldn’t go on a cruise with a friend and not even stop to chat, would you?
4 days just wouldn’t be worth it. A B2B would make it a 9 day, right? Now that would be worth it, but then the cost jumps.
Could it be arrainged so that it was a 5 day, then a 4 day; and people could do either one or both, now that would be a lot of options.
